Release Notes:  Windows CE 6.0 for Colibri Tegra 2 Sample Version

The Colibri Tegra 2 Samples are shipped with a preinstalled Windows CE 6.0 professional image.
Please note that the modules come with a Win CE core license. You are only allowed to use the preinstalled Win CE for tests.

We will ship the final version of the Colibri Tegra 2 with a Windows CE 7.0 core license.

The preinstalled version of Win CE does not represent the quality and features of the final build.

To activate the Analog RGB interface you need to activate this interface in the registry;
HKLM\Software\Nvidia Corporation\NVDDI\BootupStyle = dword:20

SD Card

The standard SD Card interface works.

Ethernet

Ethernet works. Set the Ethernet jumper on position 2-3 (like for the Colibri PXA320 )

CF Card

There is no CF Card interface on the Colibri Tegra 2

Analog Audio
***
There is no support for Analog Audio In/Out in the current version of the Win Ce image. 
However, you are able to use the Audio Out over the HDMI interface (S/PDIF)

4/5 Wire Resistive Touch Screen
***
Not supported in this version of the Win CE image. We will add this features soon.

USB
***
By default the USB ports work with full speed.
In this SW release the shard USB Host/Client port is fixed set as client.


*** Libraries/Samples ***
At the moment we do not provide any SW libraries for the Colibri Tegra 2.
We will begin to release the first beginning of 2011.

*** Tools ***
At the moment the available Colibri tools are very limited.
We will extend this in the next weeks.
